2011 State of Florida Championship - Little League Division
The 2011 State of Florida Little League Division Championship Tournament, hosted by District 10 and North Springs Little League, will be held at North Community Park July 29 - August 2, 2011.

2011 Little League Baseball Section 8 Tournament - Majors Division
The 2011 Little League Baseball Section 8 Tournament for the Majors Division was held Friday, July 22 through Sunday, July 24 at the Tamarac Sports Complex, hosted by Florida Dtistrict 10 and Tamarac Little League.
Friday evening, District 10 Team North Springs defeated District 21 Team Plantation. Saturday morning, District 8 Team Kendall also defeated Plantation, eliminating them from the tournament. On Sunday, District 10 played District 8 for the right to go on to the State Tournament, but District 8's Kendall proved too much for North Springs, winning by a score of 10-2.

Sunday, July 10
District 10 Big League Team eliminated at Semi-finals
The District 10 Big League team, playing in the Florida State Championships in Viera, lost today in the semi-finals by a score of 7-6. The team, in Pool B, won their first game Friday night 13-3, and their second game Saturday morning 9-4. They lost their third game in the pool play Saturday afternoon to the other 2-0 team in Pool B, by a score of 6-13. They were the #2 seed in Pool B going into the semi's Sunday morning and played Dist. 9, Section 6, the winner from Pool A, at 10:00 am. Results can be downloaded from the Handout page.

2011 Seniors All Star Champions
Congratulations to the CSA Senior All Stars team for their two game win in the best of three series against Deerfield Beach.
CSA won the first game Tuesday evening by a score of 8 - 4. They then went on to defeat Deerfield on Wednesday, 16 - 11 to clinch the Championship.

North Springs Teams Sweep 2010 9/10s and 10/11s All Star Section Tournaments
At the Section 8 Tournaments in Doral, July 16 - 18, the North Springs All Stars 9/10s and the 10/11s teams each won both their games against Districts 8 and 21, for a clean sweep of the Section 8 Tournament and berths in the Florida State All Star Tournament. Congratulations boys, and good luck in Land-O-Lakes for the 9/10s and in St. Cloud for the 10/11s.
