Sunday, July 19 Weather Policy:
There are 2 people monitoring the weather with lightening detectors. If we determine that we need to clear the fields the horn will sound. The park does not have adequate space for the children to go into buildings. The children (and their parents) need to immediately get into their vehicles. For this reason there must be an adult that is at the field that is responsible for your child. Your child must know who this person is.
We will then go to our cars and wait a minimum of 15 minutes. At that time it will be decided whether we resume practice, wait an additional amount of time, or call practice and head home. You will just have to watch and listen for instruction.
Weather in Florida is tricky to judge - you may not see lightening at your home but it may be at the fields. No one (parents and/or children) are allowed to be waiting in the overhang at the concession stand - that does not protect you from lightening! The children MUST BE in vehicles.
Thank you for understanding that we are putting the safety our Wolfpack children first.
