Hello everyone,

            This is likely my final update during the season and I have to say the board has been very pleased with how we’ve done this year as an overall program, but we aren’t done yet!.  More importantly, many of you have stopped me or other board members to voice your support for the changes we’ve made, the way the teams are playing, etc.

We are currently looking at several teams making the playoffs for the first time and all teams have been very competitive against some very good associations to date.  This is a very positive result from a lot of hard work and planning from all the coaches, commissioners, and players. 

Cheer is also ramping up their training in preparation for Cheer Jam on October 25^th at the Sun Dome where we hope to qualify all of our cheer teams for regionals.  Please plan to attend and show your support for all of our young athletes as we take the next step into the post-season!  Please note:  football players are expected to attend Cheer Jam to show their support for our cheerleaders – coaches should be organizing this with their respective teams.

It is important that you finish your volunteer time before the end of the season so you can remain a member in good standing and have the opportunity to pre-register for next year.  You should start to see information on 2010 pre-registration shortly.

I also want to remind everyone that we have the annual end of year event on November 12^th – please reserve this evening and expect to have some good food, fun, and a look back to the season that was.
