First Nation Fastpitch Softball Academy was established in August 1975. First Nation's goal is to assist young pitchers and catchers in achieving the highest level of expertise in the sport of fast pitch softball pitching and catching. This website is used for providing information on individual pitchers and catchers and their achievments and scheduling lessons.

Congratulations to Alyssa, Des and Laurisa in helping their team the 16&U Gamers in winning the 2009 16&U USTBA USA Fast Pitch National Championship. The Gamers played at the new fields in Lakeside, CA. Alyssa has been with FN for a little over 5 months, Des has been with FN over a year and half and Laurisa has been with FN for a little a year. Each has shown a potential that will allow them to excel at whatever level they choose. Keep working hard and congratulations on your National Championship.

KELLIE WHITE AND REYNA JAMISON AND TEAM MATES WIN THE 2009 ASA "B" 12&U WESTERN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Congratulations to Kellie White and Reyna Jamison in assisting their team mates on the 12&U Gold Bonita Valley Allstars in becoming the 2009 ASA 12&U "B" Western National Champions. Kellie and Reyna did a fantastic job winning 11 games and loosing only 1 and coming out of the loosers bracket to become the Western National Champs. Both Reyna and Kellie have been with First Nation a little under a full year. Kellie is pictured above. Again congratulations ladies on a job well done, champs.

RACHEL EVERETT AND HER 2009 BONITA VALLEY 12&U SILVER ALLSTARS WIN NSA "B" 12&U NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Congratulations to Rachel Everett and her 2009 Bonita Valley 12&U "Silver" Allstar team in winning the NSA "B" 12&U National Championship. Her team played in 7 games total and came of out of the looser brackets to take the championship. Rachel pitched in almost all of the games and in the Championship Game. She has been with First Nation for less than 1 year and has shown great potential. Great job Rachel and your team mates on a job well done, way to go Champs.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TORREY ROOKE & MEGAN SALCIDO IN WINNING THE COLORADO SPARKLER TOURNAMENT
There are 3 prestigious showcase tournaments held on the 4th of July week. They are the Boulder, Fireworks, and Sparkler. They are held in Colorado and teams through out the nation come to play and be evaluated by college coaches. They have pool play then bracket play to determine a winner. Each tournament has over 70 teams.
I am proud to announce that Torrey Rooke and Megan Salcido and their team mates on Power Surge Gold won the Sparkler Tournament. Each young lady is a junior this high school season. Megan has been with First Nation since she was 12 years old and Torrey came in as a 14 year old. Both have distinguished themselves as not only very good pitchers but academically also. Well done ladies you have a very bright future

ARIEL CRAIG AND HER TEAM MATES EARN A BERTH TO THE 2009 18&U ASA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
Congratulations to Ariel Craig and her team mates on Legacy in earning a berth to the 2009 18&U ASA National Championship Tournament. Ariel has been with First Nation for almost 3 years and has developed into a very fine pitcher with a bright future. She and her team mates will be competing at Nationals from July 27h thru Aug 3 in Las Vegas. Good luck and have fun.
