• What is the difference between the Final Kick Tri Club  (FKTC) and Final Kick Sports (FK)?  Why are there different web sites?

Final Kick Sports is a leading triathlon shop in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  It is the title sponsor of our club, which is otherwise independent, although very closely allied with the shop, as it is the place where most of us shop (being discriminating triathletes, and only interested in dealing with the best).  We utilize the forums on the FK site to communicate within the FK community (of which we proudly are a part) but maintain our own website at the moment.

• Why can't I access the members portion of the FKTC site?

There are 4 possibilities:

1. You are not a member of the club--if you have not filled out a membership form, and paid your dues (or neglected to renew and were cancelled) then you are banned from all members only content.  See the "Membership" page initiate or renew your membership

2.  You have not established an Active.com (Eteamz) login.  If this is the case, you can establish one at the prompt you encounter when trying to access member content.  Once you do this, the FKTC Webmaster will receive a request to grant you access to the site.  If you are a recognized member this will be quickly granted.

3.  You have forgotten your username (generally your email address when you signed up)  and password.  Email your information (making sure to identify yourself by name) to me and let me know what problem you are having, and I will generate an email to you which will give you this information. My email address is tom@finalkick.com

4.  You have requested access, but we can't figure out who you are, because your email address does not match the one we have on record for you.  Email me at tom@finalkick.com with the proper information, and I will get the situation fixed. 

• Who is Eteamz? Why am I getting asked to login there? 

Eteamz is a division of Active.com.  They host our site, and provide registration and other services, including the ability to register for many events around the country.

• Where is the forum?

The forum where we communicate with our members is hosted by Final Kick Sports.  You can find it by navigating toward the "Links" page, and selecting the forum.  A separate login is required at the moment.

• Why can't I post on the forum?

There are 4 possibilities:

1.  You have not established a username and password on the FK site.  Proceed to www.finalkick.com and register.  Drop me a line @ tom@finalkick.com and I will make sure you have access.

2.  You have forgotten your username. Select the "Forgot your username" link.  If this fails, and if you are confident that you have registered, provide me with the username you generally use, or the ones you think you may have used, and I will look for it.  If I find it, or another one that I can verify to belong to you, I will let you know for sure that you have registered and you can proceed to number 3

3.  You have forgotten your password.  On www.finalkick.com you can enter your username and select the "Forgot your password" link.

4.  We have not recognized you as a forum user for the FKTC forum, try posting on another Final Kick Sports forum.  If you can post there, drop me an email at tom@finalkick.com with an email referencing your actual name and your user name for the FK site and I will make sure you have appropriate access.

• Why do I need different logins?

At the moment we have two different hosts (Final Kick Sports for the forum and Eteamz for the website) and two different login procedures, you could use the same usernames and passwords if you wanted, but it is not required.  

• Where can I find the New Triathlete Training Program Training Plan?

It is located in the "Handouts" section of the site.

• How can I find out if I have already registered for the website?

Email tom@finalkick.com with an email referencing your actual name, and I will forward you your login and your password(in a separate email)

• How can I get my password for the forum/FK website?

On the FK community login, select the "Forgot your Password" link

• How can I find out if I have already registered for the forum?

On the FK community login, select the "Forgot your Username" link. If this fails, and if you are confident that you have registered, provide me with the username you generally use, or the ones you think you may have used, and I will look for it.  If I find it, or another one that I can verify to belong to you, I will let you know for sure that you have registered and you can proceed to number 3

• Where can I find news on Upcoming club events?

Featured events will appear in the "Happenings" section, and appear on the Calendar.  They will additionally appear in our Monthly Newsletter, and Mid-month update.  Certain events of note may even appear on the Main page. 

• I am trying to renew via the web...it doesn't seem to work!

Check out the "Handout" which features instructions for renewing your membership, and walk through them.  If you have some unusual responses, or it doesn't go the way it should , try deleting your cookies (on Internet Explorer, this is done by going to Tools-Internet Options [Browsing History]-Delete).  Restart your browser.  If that doesn't help, let me know where things break down and I will try to get you sorted out.  Email me at tom@finalkick.com
