Forest Hills Swim Team: Coaches

Head Coach-Eddie Lee

Eddie has been swimming competitively since the age of four.  He began swimming at Gehringer Park where he was a county finalist, and he still holds many records through out that area.  Eddie then moved on to swimming with the Walnut Creek Aquabears as well as the De La Salle Spartans where he was an All-American breastroker.  After high school, Eddie competed at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo where he was a state finalist as well as an All-American in four events.  He then transfered to Cal Poly, SLO and swam for their successful Division 1 program.  After graduating from Cal Poly, SLO in 2000, Eddie began his coaching career.  He helped turn around the summer program at Valley Vista in Walnut Creek to become one of the top teams in the county.  His coaching experience also includes leading Northgate High to top three NCS finishes in swimming and water polo for five years as well as being named NCS coach of the year in 2005 from the Contra Costa Times.  Eddie has also coached year round age group as well as junior college swimming.  Currently, Eddie maintains his passion for coaching competitive swimming while teaching math at the Jr. High level.  Eddie really looks forward to working with the Forest Hills Swim team. 

 



Jessica Moreno

This will be Jessica's sixth year coaching for Forest Hills. Jessica started swimming for FHST when she was ten years old.  Jessica is in her third year at Sonoma State University where she is studying to be a teacher. She is on the rowing team at SSU which takes up a lot of her time.  She is excited about returning for another fun and exciting season.


Kayla Weiss
Jr. Coach-Kayla Weiss


This will be Coach Kayla's fourth year coaching for FHST.  Kayla has been swimming for FHST for 10 years.  This will be Kaylas last year as a swimmer on the team.  She is a senior at Alhambra High School and enjoys theater and leadership.  She is looking forward to a great summer once again.  




Kit Club Coach

Mari Weiss is the coach of our Kit Club program.  Mari has developed this excellent program to help new swimmers build confidence and proper stroke technique.
