FUNDRAISING
The BPA conducts fundraisers from time to time throughout the year. Their purpose is twofold. The BPA uses money it collects to support the marching band program, be it providing equipment needed in home and away football games and band competitions, to providing food, water, and treats at events and band camp to assisting with the band trip activity. The Annual Banquet is funded this way, and is totally dependant on your fundraising activities. Fundraising also helps students increase their student trip account balance. Some fundraisers go directly to each student's account. Some are run on a 70/30 split, where 70% of the fundraising profits are credited to the students account and 30% is credited to the BPA account.
Most fundraisers are sent home with a due date for return, and are posted here and on the Calendar page.
Please note there is a $25 fee for any returned check.

ShopRite and Stop & Shop Gift (Cash) Cards are available.
Denominations are $50 and $100. This is a no brainer fundraiser, as eveyone needs groceries. They're available for purchase at band practice pick up and at BPA meetings. You can also coordinate purchases through the BPA website, fhsbpa@gmail.com, which is monitored daily. The Shop Rite and Stop & Shop cards will earn you 3.5% in your fundraising account.
Aside from groceries, you can use the cards for purchasing prescriptions.
We're working at Patriot Stadium again this season. Our next date is June 15th. Please sign up and join us! You'll have a great time and fun, and earn some good $$$ for your student account. Additional dates are July 23rd, August 8th, and August 15th. 100% of earnings go into your accounts.
Also coming are car washes! These are a great and fun way to increase your student account. When we've secured some dates, we'll let everyone know. Tentatively so far is Saturday, September 1st at Burger King. Details to follow.
BPA MEETINGS
Regular monthly Band Parents Association meetings will be held in the FHS Band Room. Each date listed below is a Wednesday, and meetings start at 7:00 P.M. All parents, as you are all members of the Band Parents Association, are welcome and highly encouraged to attend!
