| The newly formed MDFFA will hold an interest meeting on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at The Rosedale Center, which is located on the corner of Old Philadelphia Road and Neighbors Avenue. It is a Sunday Day/Night 9 Man Ineligible Adult Flag Football League. For Directions to the meeting, click on the directions link @ http://www.leaguelineup.com/mdffa. There will be a 14 team maximum for the MDFFA's inaugural season. Registration will be done on a strictly first come first serve basis. | TO ALL POLICE/ FIREFIGHTERS AND PUBLIC SAFETY EMPLOYEES! Do you miss playing tackle football and want to “strap em’ up again?” There is a football team forming in your area! The D.C. Generals (tentative name) are initiating a Grass Roots plan to form an expansion team in the greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area. Team will be considered “semi-pro or amateur.” The NPSFL is recruiting teams around the Country The National Public Safety Football League consists of 15 Law Enforcement and Firefighter teams from across the country. Each NPSFL player must be a full time Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter, Paramedic or other public safety official. The NPSFL teams play full- contact football. They follow NCAA rules. Each team plays a four game league schedule each season. Each NPSFL team plays their games to raise money for different charities. The D.C. Generals are currently looking into which local charities to select. All comments/ suggestions are welcome. ALL POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE, INCLUDING PLAYERS, COACHES, and ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF.
