Are there any discounts offered?



Multiple Child Discount: Register more than one child from the same family and receive 10% off the price of registration for EACH child. If you are eligible for this discount, please select only the discount to the type of camp you are registering for (Ex. Day Camper). To redeem the discount, enter your first registration, then on the "Submit Payment" page, click "Register Another Child" and proceed to register your next child. At the checkout page, enter the discount code and click "REDEEM" before entering your credit card information.
Group Discount: Campers who register for a day camper in groups of 6 or more will be eligible for a group rate. Each camper in the group will receive $50.00 off the total cost of camp. To redeem this discount, indicate that you are registering with a group in the registration form.  Campers who register for a overnight residential camper in groups of 8 or more will be eligible for a group rate. Each camper in the group will receive $75.00 off the total cost of camp. To redeem this discount, indicate that you are registering with a group in the registration form.

Yes! We would love to cater for large groups or teams and work with the coaches as they may attend also!

What is the camp refund policy?


No refund of $100.00 deposit, but can apply this to another summer 2013 camp.

What forms are required in order for my child to participate?


Insurance form and medical waiver.

What items should my child bring to camp?


At least two towels, swim suits and goggles, bed sheets or sleeping bag, pillow, soap and shampoo,
sneakers, toothbrush and toothpaste, a coat if it rains, CD player/MP3/Portable DVD player, books or magazines, snacks, and any spending money for such things as: movies, video games, souvenirs etc,
$100.00 should be plenty. Additional money for underwater video or private lessons which can be a great way to improve.

Where and when is check in?


All campers meet at the FGCU swimming pool between 7:45am and 8am on the first day of the camp.

How do I get to camp? (Driving directions)


From the North:
Take I-75 south to Alico Road Exit 128. Go east (left) on Alico Road for half a mile. Go south (right) on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway for about two miles. Turn left at the stoplight at the main FGCU entance. Once on campus at the first stop sign take a left. Continue to the next stop sign and take another left then a right at the next stop sign. Proceed untill you see the FGCU Aquatics center on your right.


From the South:
Take I-75 north to Corkscrew Road Exit 123. Go east (right) for half a mile. Turn north (left) on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway, go three miles to the main FGCU entrance on your right. Turn right at the stoplight into campus. Once on campus at the first stop sign take a left. Continue to the next stop sign and take another left then a right at the next stop sign. Proceed untill you see the FGCU Aquatics center on your right.

What meals are provided?


Residents three meals a day. Day campers lunch.

What is a typical day like?




7am Wake-up breakfast
8:30am Day campers arrive, stretching
9am Water workout, stroke analysis, starts and turns
11:30am Lunch
12:15pm Relaxation time
1:15pm Classroom session
2pm Water workout - conditioning
4:30pm Day camper depart
6pm Dinner
7pm Fun evening activities
10pm Lights out

Is there a medical staff at camp?


Qualified athletic trainers will be present at the camp. A physician will be on call 24 hours a day throughout the camp.
