YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED

Frederick County National Little League is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization

An average year for FCNLL entails managing three major segments of team play; Spring (regular) season, all-star tournaments, and the Fall season.  During the Spring season we field approximately forty teams within all divisions of play.  The teams begin to practice in mid-March and each plays a schedule of approximately sixteen games, ending by the third week of June.  Teams in the tee ball division begin practices around the end of March and play a ten game schedule.

The league fields eight "all-star" tournament teams, which are announced on or around June 15.  These teams begin a rigorous practice schedule right away in preparation for the District 3 tournament games that begin around the first of July.  The Minor League division teams play with the goal of advancing to the state championship game.  The Major League, Junior League, and Senior League teams play with the goal of advancing to each divisions' respective Little League World Series, which take place in August and are televised on ABC and ESPN.

The Fall program presents players an opportunity to compete at the division level they will advance to in the following Spring season.  It is less structured than the regular season, and is intended to be an instructional period for all area Little League participants.  The Fall season kicks off with team practices beginning in late August, followed with a schedule of approximately twelve competitive games, ending in the third week of October.

All adults involved with this program perform their services on a volunteer basis, so all funds received go towards the actual provisioning of the program.  The registration fee requested of each player is relatively nominal.  The league's annual fundraising activities are an essential part of every season.  Each family with a child in the league has an obligation to actively participate in the season's fundraising efforts, so please lend your support monetarily or by volunteering your time towards league functions.
