Please feel free to browse our web site. This program is for girls born between August 1st 1998 and July 31, 1999. We are allowed to age up 2 younger players per team. We currently have two travel teams playing in WAGS. Each travel team is allowed to have up to 12 girls on the roster. We have a third travel team which plays in the ODSL that can also accomodate up to 12 girls. The current web site outlines the information on the FASA Elite Team. The web sites for the Premier and United teams can be accessed by following the links which will be listed below in the near future.
The FASA U98G Elite play in the fall/spring WAGS league plus one season of indoor. They participate in 5 tournaments per season (trying to keep the travel generally under 90 minutes drive for each). Tournament participation is mandatory, and off season camps/training are expected. They practice twice a week for 90 minutes (generally 60 minutes of drilling and instruction and 30 minutes fun). The winter indoor season involves no practices and is strictly for fun. The emphasis is on individual technical development, with basic tactical skills training.
The FASA U98G Premier play in the fall/spring WAGS league plus one season of indoor. They participate in approximately 4 tournaments per season (trying to keep the travel generally under 90 minutes drive for each). Tournament participation is expected as are off season camps. They practice twice a week for 90 minutes (generally 60 minutes of drilling and instruction and 30 minutes fun). The winter indoor season involves no practices and is strictly for fun. The emphasis is on individual technical development, with some limited tactical skills training.
The FASA U98G United play in the fall/spring ODSL league with one season of indoor encouraged. The team will participate in the fall and spring FASA tournaments both of which are in Fredericksburg. Participation in winter indoor soccer as well as off season camps are recomended. The emphasis is on individual technical skills development withLimited tactical skills training. During the regular season, four games will be played in Fredericksburg and four in Northern Virginia.
