The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America is one of the oldest and largest fraternal organizations in the country. Since its inception in 1868, the Order of Elks has grown to include nearly 1.2 million men and women in almost 2,200 communities. The BPO Elks is committed to the ideals of charity and patriotism. F.P. Duffy, Inc. was established in Paterson, NJ, in 1930 by Frederick Patrick Duffy. Originally, he collected used wooden crates from the local textile mills. The crates would then be repaired and sold to secondary markets. When the packaging industry changed over to cardboard, so did we. Today, F.P. Duffy, Inc. and Duffy Box & Recycling, Inc. operate multiple locations and service companies east of the Mississippi directly. We use common carriers for the remaining parts of the country. F.P.
