7/23/2008 Update:
Aloha Everyone! Here are some updates/info:
- **MANDATORY** - All girls must have a chinstrap on their helmets. Please make sure your daughter’s helmet is equipped with a chinstrap for Saturday’s game. No chinstrap, no play!
- Game – Saturday, 7/26/08, 12 pm, Honowai field (Waipahu). Please arrive by 11 am. It is important that the player’s arrive on time for warm-up. Due to the limited parking at the field, please adjust your time to allow yourself ample time to park and have your daughter at the field, ready for warm-up by 11 am.
- Girls are to wear BLACK Kolohe uniform shirt
- Potluck – Paige, Ashley, Belle; Cabunocs will bring paper goods and drinks
- Umpire – Gooman
- Kolohe is the visiting team
- Picture Taking – Picture taking is scheduled for Friday, August 1st at 4:30 pm at the park near Woodbridge. (From Ft. Weaver road heading toward Waipahu, turn right on Kolowaka St. At the stop sign, take a left and follow the road to the end. If coming into Ewa Beach, from Ft Weaver road take a left onto Kolowaka St. At the stop sign, take a left and follow the road to the end. You will be heading in the opposite direction of Holomua Elementary)
- We are using ORANGE uniform tops.
- Payments are due on the day of pictures. No payment, no picture package.
- Each player will take an individual shot and a team picture.
- Pictures will take about 4 weeks to arrive.
- Trophies – I took a look at trophies at Awardline in Waipahu. Picture trophies range from $17.50 - $21.00. I did take some pictures with my cell phone, not really clear, but I did it more to keep the prices in line with the specific trophy. If you are interested in seeing the samples, please see me on Friday. We cannot place an order until the pictures are in, and they ask for 2 weeks, but can push it in 1. I will speak with the photographer during our picture session to see if we can get the pictures sooner to have the trophies by our last game.
