FOOTBALL 2009

Welcome to the Enfield Ramblers Football team.  We are part of the NCFL, following their bylaws.  The Enfield Ramblers have been a volunteer run organization for many years.  Their are 4 football squads, as well as 4 cheerleading squads.  The age group is 6 years of age to 14.  The weights are enforced by the NCFL.  The season begins at the end of July and goes into November.  Practices are 5 nights a week in the month of August and decrease to 3 times per week once school starts.  The practices are mandatory, lasting from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  Games are usually played every Sunday beginning in September.  There are 4 home games and 4 way games.  The season will run past these 8 games if we go into the playoffs and championship games.  New this year (2009) we will be playing 3 out of 4 home games on Saturday afternoon into the evening hours so that we can play under the lights.

Volunteer time from the parents is mandatory in order for the organization to continue to run smoothly.  We are asking parents to give 5 hours of their time, through out the season at the games.
