Volunteer Coordinator:  Sharon Smith

The Enfield Ramblers Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization is run completely by volunteers who happily give of their time to make sure the oganization runs smoothly.  Without these volunteers the Ramblers would not be the team they are today.   Most volunteers are board members who work year round to assure a safe and productive year for all the players, cheerleaders, coaches and parents.  However, we need your help, the help of parents/guardians, to continue to provide these qualities for our children. 

As we did for the 2008 season, we will once again mandate a fully refundable $50.00 (due at the time of registration) for your time to volunteer for the organization.  Each game day reguires approximately 100 volunteers.  Each game ( we play 4) we need the minimum of 30 people for the concessions, merchandise selling, 50/50 raffle and security on the field.  The teams concession stand helps pay for the cost of hosting a game day.  The host team pays for the referees, announcers, EMT and town grounds keeper all totaling over $1200.00 each home game.   Without the monies coming in from the concessions our registration fee, which we have not increased in over 3 years, would require to be increased.  The board members volunteer their time throughout the year and appreciate the help during the games so that they also may watch their child's or children's performance.

 Sharon Smith, is the volunteer coordinator for the 2009 season, she will be enlisting the parents of all players and cheerleaders to help out on game days by helping with field set up, field take down, concessions, 50/50 raffle, security and overall cleanliness of the grounds.  Sharon will be coming around  during practice with a sign up sheet, please pick a time that works for both you and your family.   You may sign up for a time slot that is just prior to or just after your childs game or performance.   If everyone pitches in, we are sure to have a great year.  We take pride in our organization and with the help of all we will continue to show just how great the Rambler Football and Cheerleading Organization truly is.  

There also will be times post season that we will require your help.  If any of our teams make it into the playoffs, there is a chance that we would be hosting the games.  This would be just like any other game day with concessions, 50/50, merchandise and security on the field.
