The past five years have been very rewarding for me as a coach with the Enfield Ramblers, starting with the C-Team right thru the B-Team. I want to thank Brian McKewon for finding me five years ago sitting with the parents the first week of summer practice and allowing me to help out his C-Team.
I have developed many new friendships along the way, have been to the playoffs three of my five years winning one Championship, losing another, but have come to realize one thing.....The Enfield Ramblers Football Organization is bar none, a quality organization with class people.
I have fully enjoyed my time coaching,loved it, looking forward to every season. But like everything in life, it is now time for me to move on and watch my son Mike as he attends Fermi next year.
I want to thank all the people associated with the Ramblers Organization for the hard work they put in in keeping the organization moving forward week after week. It takes a great deal of time and energy behind the scenes to keep everything organized and running. My hat off to all of you, I truly appreciated it.
I also want to thank all the parents for getting your kids to practice on time and cheering us on every game. We have without a doubt the Best fans in the NCFL.
But from my heart, I want to thank the coaches who I had the honor of coaching with; Kirk Violette, Sal Vella, Tom Leveille, Pat Wilcox, Jeff Porcello, Brian McKewon, Paul Brantner, Joe Liucci and Dane Thoroughgood. You all have taught me a lot about the game of football and I will always remamber how we all worked together for the kids.
But mostly, I want to thank the kids - the players, who came week after week, grew and developed as football players, gave it all, had great heart and gave us coaches everything we asked of them. You players are what kept me going week after week and coming back year after year. There is no better pleasure in watching a young man show up in August scared to death about being at football practice and watching him develop over the season. There is nothing that give me more personal satisfaction than that.
I would like to leave one thing to the Ramblers as I leave:
Football
FOOTBALL IS BELIEVING.
FOOTBALL IS COMMITMENT.
FOOTBALL IS SWEAT, PAIN AND HEART.
FOOTBALL IS WHATEVER IT TAKES.

FOOTBALL IS A BROTHERHOOD ON AND OFF THE FIELD.
FOOTBALL IS A TEAM THAT WORKS AS ONE IN FINDING A WAY TO GIVE EVERYTHING IN YOUR HEART TO WIN.
WIN FOR YOUR TEAMMATES AND WIN FOR YOUR TEAM.
FOOTBALL - HEART, TEAM, ONE.
