Self

I was a member of the 1968 All Star Team and so happy to see that the league is so strong in the community. With my dad in the military, I played ball in several places and No one starts a season like Encinitas Little League (NSD). My best childhood memories are playing at NSD. I still have my cap and pins. Good luck and have a great season!

Go Encinitas!   Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.

Have a terrific season!
Best regards from Rick Fishman, author of Sandlot Summit, the funniest youth baseball story ever.
