Congratulations to the following teams for winning their way into Championship Saturday:

Minor A Cubs visit Minor A Braves: 9:30am Field #2

Minor B Twins visit Minor B White Sox: 10:30am Field #3

Majors A's visit Majors Giants: 12:30pm Field #2

Closing ceremonies honoring retiring Board Members, 1st/2nd place season trophies, post season 1st/2nd place trophy presentations immediately following the 12:30pm Majors game field #2.

All Star Tryouts

All Star Tryouts will be conducted at ELL for ELL's 2012 tournament teams on the following dates, 9/10 team time to be announced.  Please arrive 30 minutes before start time to register and warm up:

9/10 year old team:  Sunday, June 10, time TBA

10/11: Tuesday, June 12, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

11/12:  Friday, June 15, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Mandatory parent meeting for all players trying out at 4 p.m., at least 1 parent of each player must attend)

HR Derby Winners go to Petco in Style

The Minor A Diamondbacks were treated like celebrities Sunday as they climbed into a stretch limousine and were whisked away to watch the Padres face the Angels at Petco Park. Pictures and details to follow, but they were treated to a 13 inning affair, capped off by a Pitcher Pinch hitting and scoring from first base to win for the Padres. Congratulations to the Diamondback Team for raising over $1000 in HR Derby this year.

2012 ELL Youth Umpire Program

Congratulations to our 46 working Youth umpires for a fantastic job officiating the Minor B season this spring at ELL.  We have the largest youth umpire program in the county and it's success depends on young men and women like you holding themselves accountable to being prepared, punctual, focused and professional.  Well done again this year!

Effective immediately, Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BT0636, including all graphic variations, is not eligible, or approved, for use in any Little League program or activity.
