Emmett Little League 2009 Season
Welcome everyone to the start of our 2009 baseball season. So far the weather has held up and we have a couple of good games in the books already.
Be sure to check this site often for updates and more. Managers are encouraged to form their own team site through eteamz and if you do let Dianne Wilkerson or Joshua White know and we will get you linked through the Emmett site. For an example check the Emmett Junior Yankees team site.
Check back soon for a list of umpires that can be contacted for your games. This list will be available for use by our teams in need, but please remember that we are all volunteers and it is best to try to give as much notice as possible if you need an umpire. Don't be surprised if you get turned down the day of your game if you haven't made prior arrangements.
Also check the handout section for pitch count resources and district wide rules including the interleague rules. Remember that we are going to interleague this season so all games will play by these rules. There are some special ones for the minors both AA and AAA (with some just for AA) so make sure that we all understand them before game time. Any rule or umpiring questions should be sent to Josh White (emmettuic@live.com).
