Field Prep - Limited Use of Quads/ATVs for Certified Personnel Only
Initially, for liability reasons, CSD banned all use of vehicles for field prep. Through rigorous negotiations, EGGSL has been granted approval by CSD for use of quads to drag fields....with specific conditions. 1) No person shall be allowed to use a vehicle of any kind to drag the field unless properly trained and certified. 2) Vehicles such as Quads and ATV's are only to be used for the purpose of field maintenance, and ARE NOT TO BE DRIVEN on any part of the park other than the dirt infields. 3) No person under the age of 18 shall be allowed to use a vehicle of any kind, under any circumstances, in CSD parks. 4) ONLY ONE OPPORTUNITY FOR TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION WILL BE OFFERED: Saturday, April 4th (Opening Day) at approximately 1:00 pm on the White Diamond (following ceremonies, as soon as the field clears of all players). 5) ANYONE WHO DOES NOT ATTEND THIS TRAINING WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO USE A VEHICLE FOR FIELD PREP! 6) Any violation of these conditions could cause EGGSL to lose the use of CSD fields, and persons caught violating these rules may be subject to disciplinary action. Again, there is only one opportunity to be certified to use a Quad, and that is at Opening Day. Any coach or parent who is to be using a quad MUST be at this training.

I will do my best to
provide a safe playing situation for my players.

I will use those
coaching techniques appropriate for each of the skills that I teach.
-

February 16, 2005
On Sunday, February 13, 2005,
Elk Grove Girls Softball has lost one it finest coaches.
He was a man that gave his time, love and compassion to our 2004
Winterball 12u Raider team. His personality was one that I
