2010 is here

Registration Details

Flyers will hit schools in 2 weeks.  Forms are available to download on this site under the handouts tab.  Please complete fully and bring to Big National along with proof of residence and age and registration Fee (Cash Only) No ATM or Checks.   Limited space available.   Registration will start Wednesday January 13th from 7 to 9PM.    Volunteers are needed.   If interested please complete the volunteer application as well.    On the calendar tab you will be able to see when we will be doing registration.    If you want to complete the forms and scan to me you can.  elmontebaca@aol.com  I'll have your information input into the system and you can come and pay at the park.   2 snack bar duties are required for each child registered.  If you do not want to do snack bar you can add $20 to your registration and will be exempt for the year.  Phone number to reach me is 626-297-5908.   Please call in the evening.   I'm usually pretty busy at work and don't have time to pick up my cell. 

T-Ball ages 4 to 6

Cost $65.00

This division is simply described as fun.  Kids get on the field for the first time.  They will either hit off the tee or coach pitch underhand.   This is for both boys and girls. Includes jersey, socks, hat, and basic picture package.   We usually have 8 teams in this division but fills up rapidly.   2 snack bar duties are required for each child registered.  If you do not want to do snack bar you can add $20 to your registration and will be exempt for the year.  There are no tryouts for this division.   If you know another child is on a team and want your child to be with him please tell us so at registration and we'll make every accomodation to put them on the same team.

AAA ages 7 & 8 

What a division.   Due to the great participation in T-Ball the level of play here has been phenomenal.   This is player pitch and sometimes coach pitch but the game of baseball is played with special rules to allow the games to move faster and get more innings in.   Children learn the basics of baseball and are using a safety ball the first half of the season and a real baseball the 2nd half

Cost $70

Includes Jersey, Socks, Hat and basic picture package.   2 snack bar duties are required for each child registered.  If you do not want to do snack bar you can add $20 to your registration and will be exempt for the year.   

you will be responsible for belt, shoes, mitt, protective cup.

Tryouts are required for this division.   Refer to calendar for details

Minors ages 9 & 10  

Cost $75

Another fantastic division.  With all the kids moving up from AAA should be a fantastic division.  

Registration includes:  Jersey, Socks, Hat & basic picture package.      2 snack bar duties are required for each child registered.  If you do not want to do snack bar you can add $20 to your registration and will be exempt for the year. 

You will be responsible for  socks, shoes, mitt and protective cup.

Majors ages 11 & 12 Both Baseball and Softball Available

Winners of TOC and All Stars.   Can't tell you how proud I am of the children and coaches associated with those teams last year.   Well Done.   This is the division plays under the lights.

Cost $80

Registration includes Jersey (returned at end of season) Socks, Hat and basic picture package.  2 snack bar duties are required for each child registered.  If you do not want to do snack bar you can add $20 to your registration and will be exempt for the year.  

You will be responsible for socks, shoes, mitt and protective cup.

Junior Baseball 

Cost $120

Due to construction at Frank Wright we will no longer be able to play Junior Baseball at Frank Wright.   We do however want to keep the kids together and we will play all games at Baldwin Park and El Monte American (Pioneer Park).   Cost is due to cost of umpires for this division and no home games.

Registration includes Jersey (returned at end of season) socks, hat and basic picture package.  @ snack bar duties are required for each child registered.  If you do not want to do snack bar you can add $20 to your registration and will be exempt for the year.
