Santa Fe (8) Over Memorial (7) in Grudge Match
vs. EMSH celebration

FROM THE ARCHIVES, originally posted March 4, 2009

Who would've thought with 20 minutes left in this grudge match, Santa Fe, down 3 to 1, would come back to tie the match?! Tie games are becoming quite a tradition with these 2 teams.

Anyway, we did. Our guys played the WHOLE game and never gave up. (Stats to come on stat page). During the shootout, Drew Schmid's composure and character came through in the goal with outstanding saves to keep the BullDogs from their 8th-in-row victory.
