2011 East Troy Titan 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Tackle Football Information

The Program:                 The East Troy Titans tackle football program is starting its 13th year as a member of the All-American Youth Football League (AAYFL) of Southeastern Wisconsin.  The Titans are community sponsored, not school sponsored, and operates with an all-volunteer staff.  Equipment (helmets, shoulder pads, etc.) is purchased through fundraising, donations, and concession profits.

Who Can Play:           Any student living in the East Troy Community School District (including private schools) entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the fall of 2011, whose 15th birthday is not on or before November 15, 2011.

How to Join:               All forms necessary for registration (Registration forms, AAYFL liability waiver forms, and Player/Parent Code of Conduct forms) can be downloaded and filled out from the handout section of this website and brought to this meeting.  

Cost to Play:              The cost to equip a player and other expenses for the season is $200.  This is the lowest fee in the league and area.  Depending on the circumstances, there  may be a late registration fee of $25.00.  We do not limit or cut players, and we provide everyone the opportunity to play.  A parent will need to complete at least one volunteer assignment for ETYF during the season.  If there are financial hardships, please speak with a member of the Board of Directors; we have various options available to you, and your confidentiality will be kept.

Practices:                   The rest of summer practices will be held Monday-Thursday 5:00/5:30-8 PM before the school year starts, and Tuesday-Thursday 5 PM-7 PM once school begins.  Practice is held at East Troy High School on the football practice fields.  Check the calendar section of this website for changes.

Games:                       8th grade teams play at 9:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays; 7th grade plays at 10:30 a.m. or 5:30 p.m.; 6th grade plays at 12:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.  WIAA-certified officials referee all games.  Home games are played at East Troy High School; parents may want to carpool their players for away games. Last game will be 10/29 (8th grade could play in championship game 11/5).

                       A parent/guardian must fill out and sign all forms necessary for registration.
