The Program:                 The East Troy Titans tackle football program is starting its 10th year as a member of the All-American Youth Football League (AAYFL) of Southeastern Wisconsin.  The Titans are community sponsored, not school sponsored, and operates with an all-volunteer staff. Equipment (helmets, shoulder pads, etc.) is purchased through donations, concession profits, and program ad sales.

Who Can Play:           Any student living in the East Troy Community School District (including private schools) entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the fall of 2008, whose 15th birthday is not on or before November 1, 2008.

Cost to Play:              The cost to equip a player and other expenses for the season is $250.00.  This is the lowest fee in the league and area.  We do not limit or cut players, and we provide everyone the opportunity to play.  Depending on the circumstances, there may be a late registration fee of $25.00.  $50 of the registration fee will be returned to you at equipment turn-in if one parent completes one volunteer assignment.  If there are financial hardships, please speak with a member of the Board of Directors; we have various options available to you, and your confidentiality will be kept.

Practices:                   Wear T-shirts, shorts, supporter, socks, and football shoes to practice.  The first 10 hours of practice will be in this uniform and your issued helmet.  Practice will be held Monday-Thursday 5:30-8 PM before the school year starts, and three times per week once school begins.  Please note that practice is held at East Troy High School on the football practice fields.

Games:                       8th grade teams play at 9:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays; 7th grade plays at 10:30 a.m. or 5:30 p.m.; 6th grade plays at 12:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.  WIAA-certified officials referee all games.  Home games are played at East Troy High School.  It is suggested that parents carpool their players for away games.  Last game will be 10/25 (8th grade could play 11/1).

A parent/guardian must fill out/sign the waiver/release of liability section on the registration forms.
