A Little about Us

The Eastside Soccer Association (ESSA) has provided recreational and competitive travel soccer teams for children on the east side of Indianapolis since 1977. We are a volunteer organization that offers an opportunity for children to play the world’s most popular sport in a safe environment. We are committed to offering the best program we possibly can to the children and families in our organization.

Indy Force

Indy Force is the travel division of the EastSide Soccer Association. Indy Force plays its home games at the ESSA soccer fields and is currently comprised of nine teams and growing. Please visit the official ESSA Indy Force website here.

Indy Force Spring 2012 Travel Soccer Tryouts

The Indy Force Spring 2012 travel soccer tryouts will be held as follows:

Boys U8-U14

• Tuesday June 12th 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

• Wednesday June 13th 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Girls U8-U14

• Monday June 18th 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

The above tryouts will all be held at the ESSA soccer fields.

Boys and Girls U15 - U19 (High School Kids)

The U14-U18 boys and girls tryouts for USF Real are as follows:

• Tuesday June 12th 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Brandywine Park, 900 East Davis Park, Greenfield, IN 46140.
• Wednesday June 13th 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm, New Palestine Elementary, 4801 South 500 West, New Palestine, IN 46163.
• Monday June 18th 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm, ESSA Soccer Fields, 937 South German Church Road, Indianapolis, IN 46239.

ESSA Spring 2012 Fundraiser Information

We will have all the spring 2012 candle orders ready for pick up at the fields this Saturday, May 19th, for the rec tournament.

McDonalds at Cherry Tree Crossing has also joined ESSA as a 2012 sponsor. We know how much the kids love McDonalds. Please thank them for their support during your next visit. Thank you McDonalds.

Donatos Pizza will be available at the concession stand beginning April 3^rd, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night. It will be $1.50 per slice and $2.75 for a combo with a drink and chips. There will only be 2 pizzas (16 slices) initially to see how it goes over. So there is a limited number of slices.

Home Depot has donated 6 new picnic table to ESSA to be used at the field. Thank you Home Depot, we appreciate it very much.

Sportsmanship at ESSA

Sportsmanship is the most important aspect of youth sports and ESSA would like to stress the importance of good sportsmanship on and off the field. Understanding the game is important so there is no confusion on the sidelines or on the field.
