Chaparral Park Ball Fields
Chaparral Park is a 71-acre park constructed in the Indian Bend Wash, providing a lush greenbelt with a 10-acre lake for urban fishing and boating (persons age 14 and up must have a valid fishing license from Arizona Game & Fish), a free-form public swimming pool and diving area (open May - August), a playground, 3 lighted softball fields, a lighted baseball field, 3 soccer fields (one lighted), 2 grass volleyball courts (one by the Central Ramada and the other by the South Ramada), 3 ramadas, a ten station exercise course, a multi-use court (½ basketball court), a wheelchair accessible fishing pier, a Community Center with 2 small classrooms, and restroom.

As a part of the greenbelt, Chaparral shares a recreation path system that is ideal for running, walking, biking, and rollerblading.
