All Star coaches
Mike Susic and Kevin Luethen

Congratulations to the following list of 9 & 10 year olds.  They have been selected to represent ESLL in the 9-10 All Star tournament this year:

  • Nolan Bils from the Majors Cardinals
  • Jake Lieppert from the Majors Rangers
  • Anthony Galizia from the Majors Orioles
  • Brysn Curl from the Majors Rangers
  • Mack Schroeder from the Majors Athletics
  • Chad Lutz from the Majors Rockies
  • Dillon Hinkle from the Majors Rangers
  • Geoff Thomas from the Minors Brewers
  • Brandon Alley from the Majors Cardinals
  • Jackson Martin from the Majors Orioles
  • Matthew Noriega from the Minors D-Backs
  • Travis Stack from the Minors Yankees

This years 9-10 team will be managed by Scott Miller from the Minors Brewers.  The evaluation process was long and difficult and supported from many coaches.  We had many players who deserve to be included in this group of All-Stars for their great attitudes and constant hustle.  We encourage all the 9 & 10 year olds in our league to continue driving hard and giving their best efforts as it is noticed and appreciated by all our coaches and fans.

The 9-10 year old tournament is scheduled for June 20th through 27th at Fountain Hills.  ESLL's first game will be against Fountain Hills Little League on Saturday, June 20th at 7:30 pm on field #4.  Please schedule to attend and cheer on your ESLL players.

We wish Scott and his team all the best to ensure ESLL has a safe and successful tournament.

Congratulations to the following list of 10 & 11 year olds.

East Scottsdale is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization serving children (aged 5 - 18 by April 30th) who reside in the Navajo and Pueblo School attendance areas (roughly between the Arizona Canal to the north and west, Osborn Rd to the south, and Pima Rd to the east....see boundary map in the Handouts section for exact areas included). Our goals are for the kids to have fun, build confidence, learn team skills, and respect for the game. Our season is between March and May. In person sign ups start in January. The season can run longer for players that participate in playoffs and all-stars. Please take your time looking through the information on the site.

2009 Playoff Information

2009 Majors Playoff
2009 Minors Playoff

The playoff schedule for the ESLL end of season tournament is now posted. The minors seedings have been drawn and the majors seedings will be determined at the end of the regular season based on win/loss records.

All of the games will be played on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with varying start times. Please review the handouts section for the majors & minors playoff schedules to verify the start dates & times.

All games will still have the same time limits as you have played throughout the season. However, if at the end of the drop dead time limit the score is tied, you should expect to continue playing until there is no longer a tie at the end of an inning.

Been thinking about renewing or purchasing a new magazine subscription?

You can support your East Scottsdale Little League and save some money by purchasing

magazine subscriptions from this site. 40% of the proceeds from your purchase will

go directly to the East Scottsdale Little League. That can help when we need

to purchase new equipment, help us lower yearly sign up fees, etc.

We just signed up for 3 magazines (total cost was $60) and East Scottsdale Little League just made $24.00. You can help too!

Parent Orientation Program!

As the parent of a Little Leaguer, you are committed to making your child's sports

experience as rewarding as possible.  Little League Baseball offers some tips on participating as a

volunteer, as well as ways you can help develop the concepts of character, courage and loyalty in your Little Leaguer.

Parent/Volunteer Pledge

  • I will teach all children to play fair and do their best.

  •
  • I will positively support all managers, coaches, and players.

  •
  • I will respect the decisions of the umpires.

  •
  • I will praise a good effort despite the outcome of the game.

Becoming a Volunteer

Little League Baseball is an organization designed to build good citizens. It is a program of

leadership, preparing today's youth to be tomorrow's leaders. Little League relies on a devoted legion of adult

volunteers to help ensure that the organization remains structured and runs smoothly. The East Scottsdale Little

League is always looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals to support and coordinate Little League events

and activities. As a volunteer, you should have a keen interest in the safety, well-being, and overall development of children.

Please consult with the league president on how to best use your talents and skills to help provide your kids the best Little League

experience possible.

It is important that every parent/volunteer has read and understands the Little League Parent Code of Conduct.

The Little League Pledge!

The Little League Pledge was written by Peter J. McGovern, the late president of Little League Baseball, in 1954.

It made its first appearance in the February 1955 "Little Leaguer" magazine. Its text has remained unchanged in the half-century since then.

Those in the East Scottsdale Little League recite the pledge during the Opening Day ceremonies.

I trust in God

I love my country

And will respect its laws

I will play fair

And strive to win

But win or lose

I will always do my best

"I could still recite the Little League Pledge today if you asked. It says win or lose,

always do your best. That's what I learned most from Little League Baseball." - Gary Carter, Baseball Hall of Fame catcher
