Sunday, May 3 Program Introduces 3 New Members to the Team Staff They are all young, intense and committed to providing the best to our players. Coach Morton is happy to introduce 3 new members to the Team Staff. Adrienne Gabarro - Trainer/Therapist (RMT) Having been a trainer at the Under21 level for 5 yrs, Addrienne also volunteers her time with the Toronto 20km Marathon, Swim Clubs and Track Clubs. This former National Level swimmer, Triathlete and distance runner also brings an intensity to her career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Possessing a 5 yr RMT designation to go with 6 yrs ART (Active Release Techniques) and certified in spine, upper/lower extremities, nerve entrapment, DAC Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Kineso Taping, the Porgram is getting someone who will provide the best care for our players. Having treated such a wide variety of soft tissue to fracture injuries, Adrienne will provide the necessary evaluation skills and techniques to best reduce and manage all related injuries and necessary recovery schedules of our players. Patrick Dinsmore - Asst. Coach/Fitness Coach/Educational Advisor Patrick returns to the Program after finally completing his studies at York University. Patrick had taken time off from the Program to complete Teaches College. With full-time employment with the Toronto Board of Education worked out, Patrick has the time to give back to the Program. Having played 3 yrs with Coach Morton and then 2 yrs on the bench as an Asst Coach, Patrick is well versed in the systems and expectations of the Program. Patrick will also serve as the Team Fitness Coach and will be available to all players as an Educational Advisor and tudor if required. Patrick is familiar with the NCAA Clearing House requirements and expectations of U.S. College entry requirements. Well Back Patrick
John Stamou - Goalie Coach Having played 3 yrs of Under21 hockey (2yrs with Coach Morton) John knows the ins and outs of this level of play. Blessed with a great reflexes and technical skill, John will be solely responsible for the preparation and performance of the goalies. Whether it was at practice or games, John will concentrate on providing insight and gained experience to our goalies with an intensity level that seperated him from the rest when he played. Providing an understanding to the variety of changes that they will experience throughout their playing time at the Under21 level. No stranger to the Program, this former Under21 All Star has been around the Program since retiring 2 seasons ago. Now working fulltime while attending evening classes, John is able to afford some time to give back to a worthwhile volunteer group like Coach Mortons Program. Welcome Back John |
