Congratulations to the team for getting 2nd place in the 14U division of Triple Crown Fall State Tournament. The championship game was hard fought against a really good 14U team from North Carolina (Charlotte Stealth).  This was a great experience for the entire team, many of which had never pitched from 60'6" before.

Congratulations to the team for winning the 14U division of the BPA OCTOBER CHILL tournament in Dalton GA on Sunday Oct 19, 2008.

 With excellent pitching and hitting, the Astros were able to go 4-0 to win this "Sunday Only" tournament, giving up only 1 run while scoring 57. 

Good luck this next weekend in the 14U division of the Triple Crown Fall State Tournament at the East Cobb Baseball Complex.

Congratulations to the East Cobb Astros for their win in the Triple Crown Fall Classic!  The Fall Classic was held September 26-28, 2008 at the East Cobb complex and included some very competitive teams.  The Astros finished pool play 3-0 and began their path to the championship Sunday morning with a close 3-2 win over Outlaws Baseball.  The Astros then battled the tough South Gwinnett Comets.  After an 11-3 win over the Comets, the Astros faced Bulldog Baseball in the championship game.  The Astros displayed their power at the plate, on the mound, in the field, and as a team for a final score of 15-5 and a victory over the Bulldogs.  All the players are looking forward to the 2009 spring season!
