U14 WHITE WINS INDIANA ASA 'A' STATE
Memorial high school and earthquake 14u "white" coach Bob McFall (moratorium week) had to sit on the sidelines Sunday as the 14u girls racked several hits, worked hard to gain the quakes 19th state title and went undefeated in the tourney beating the tsunami in the final game 4-2 FOR THE CLASS A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.....ALREADY QUALIFIED FOR NORMAL, IL ASA NATIONALS THE QUAKE ADDED ANOTHER STATE TITLE TO ITS ARCHIVE OF SUCCESS.
The U14 White Earthquake won the Metro St. Louis ASA "Stars and Stripes" Tourney on July 4th weekend.
U14 RED WINS ASA Class B STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Earthquake U14 Red girls fast pitch team finished first out of 26 teams at the ASA Indiana State B tournament played over the weekend. The championship qualifies them for a paid berth to the National Tournament July 28-Aug 3 in Bloomington, Indiana. The team posted seven wins with no losses and outscored their opponents 62 to 4 runs.

U12 WINS ASA Region 10 National Qualifier
The U12 went 4-0 in the single day double elimination tourney this Saturday in Owensboro Kentucky to win the Moonlight BBQ ASA "A' Region 10 National Qualifier. For once the girls stayed in the Winners bracket and took the CHAMPIONSHIP with the minimum number of games. Although the day started at 8:00 in the morning, it wasn't until 11:45 pm that the final game was ended. It took a lot of mental fortitude to stay focused through a long day with long breaks between games. CONGRATS GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

U14 RED finishes 7th at ASA 'B' NATIONALS
The Indiana Earthquake 14U Red finished 7th in the week-long, ASA 'B' National Tournament on August 2, 2003 in Bloomington, Indiana. The team finished its season with a record of 48 wins, 16 losses. Well done! We are all proud of their accomplishments.

EQUAKE U12 GOLD WINS POOL PLAY @ ASA 'A' NATIONALS
The INDIANA EARTQUAKE U12 GOLD WON their POOL PLAY DIVISION at the ASA 'A'NATIONALS at Marietta, GA to go into the DOUBLE ELIM BRACKET as a #1 SEED. They defeated the OHIO MUDDOGS 6-0 in their first game and then BEAT the California Lady Magic 9-2. With a Bye on Wednesday they await thier first bracket opponent on Thursday. WAY TO GO GIRLS!!!!!!!! The bracket play did not go the Earthquake way. After spotting thier opponents leads in the first inning the girls fought back to have a chance in both games.
It is still a good thought to know we went up against "THE BEST OF THE BEST" AND COMPETED. Final finish tied for 49th out of 83.

WE STILL NEED PLAYERS IN THE UPPER AGE GROUPS,16U-18U.(GOLD PLAYERS WILL TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY TO THE ELITE TOURNEYS IN THE COUNTRY,PLEASE INQUIRE SOON FOR A SPOT.
MOST TEAMS ARE FILLED IN THE YOUNGER AGE GROUPS BUT WE WILL TRY PLAYERS OUT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES TO FILL A TEAM TO 12 PLAYERS IF NEEDED.

TOURNEYS ARE APPROACHING
A Winter Tourney for the 14u WHITE team will be the 23rd of January in Indianapolis. The 10u will be playing in Feb. around the 21st. The U12 plan to play an outside tourney in APRIL.

Coaches please come in and pick up your pins.
These are well liked and different! Upscaled again at the same price as last season. Earthquake pins are a big favorite at the national tournaments so make sure you get yours.
Please get the final fees in if you didn`t sell banners or pizzas. NO PLAYER WILL RECIEVE ANY UNIFORMS-helmets-jackets-bags-shoes unless they are in good standing P.I.F. This is the OLD POLICY which will be enforced.

The Indiana Earthquake U12 GOLD battled arch rival LVO LAdy Aces in another Championship game and was once again VICTORIOUS.
