Exceptional Performance Ladies !!!!!!
These rivals on the high school diamond worked well together attempting to do what no other Indiana team has done, win a NATIONAL CLASS A CHAMPIONSHIP. AFTER LOSING A HEARTBREAKING 1-0 GAME AGAINST THE Ohio Scorchers the quake reeled of 6 consecutive wins over very good competition before falling a game short of getting into the championship game. The biggest win in quake history came when the QUAKE upset the Bama Mustangs, a nationally known travel organization WHO HAS FARED VERY well over the years in national competition.
" We really put on a good show, 9-10 years ago we couldn't play with these southern teams, now with hard work and dedication we can compete. Now we know we can win at the class A level. I want to thank the entire coaching staff, team and parents for a great season. I have been around great people over the years but this has been one of the best groups of all--absolutely no problems carrying 15 players, everyone contributed. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE EFFORT THESE KIDS PUT FORTH" said Bob McFall. Also Tim Bertram young 14U Gold QuAkE team finished a very RESPECTABLE 25th place out of 54 teams.ONLY 14U TEAM IN TOWN THAT PLAYED IN a NATIONAL CLASS A TOURNAMENT.
