QUAKE SPIRIT

DARLA DEWIG to play for BALL STATE UNIVERSITY IN THE 2003
DARLA DEWIG signed a national letter of intent to play for BALL STATE UNIVERSITY IN THE 2003 SEASON. DARLA , EARTHQUAKE 18U CATCHER AND HOME RUN HITTER WILL PLAY SOFTBALL AT BALL STATE U.

Darla is going to be better and better the more she plays and practices. "SHE WANTS TO PRACTICE DAILY" said earthquake director and former 18u coach Bob McFall." Darla is probably one of the hardest workers and most feared players Ive ever had the chance to coach, pitchers actually tremble when she comes to the plate". Darla had several schools showing intrest but chose Ball State because of the location, coach, facilities and campus. DARLA WILL BE BACK FOR THE 2002 SUMMER TRAVEL SEASON TO KEEP HER GAME FRESH AND PLAY ANOTHER SUMMER FOR THE QUAKE 18U.
**SHE WOULD LIKE TO THANK BOB AND DAVE,THE EARTHQUAKE AND HER TEAM MATES FOR ALL THIER HELP! SHE KNOWS WHAT TEAM MEANS AND IT TAKES ONE TO BE SUCCESSFUL
