Amanda Crowley has a broken nose from a bad hop on a grounder during warm up before the second game. This eager player wanted to come back from the emergency center and play, but mom Sherri said no way. Amanda did sit on the sidelines and cheer the team on with an ice bag on her face. Hope it clears up soon, Amanda.

16U Repeat ID Classic Championship
Finishing in an incredidible 11 innings, the 16U Quake battled, defending their 2000 Championship of the IEQ Independence Day Classic by defeating Louisville Lady Sluggers 1-0. Led by pitcher Nikki Nichols who also RBI'd for the winning run, defense battled bravely with runners on and held the opposition to no runs. With some awesome defensive catches by third base Erica Scisney and catcher Morgan Webster, all the Quake ladies hustled to perform the necessary tight plays needed. CONGRATULATIONS! to all -Andrea, Alecia, Amanda Purdue, Danica, Katie, Valen, Amanda Crowley, Susan, Erin, Morgan, Erica, and Nikki. Happy Birthday Tami, thanks for all your work Bill!!
