The Sevier Co. Bears are a 13u competitive baseball team. The team is lead by Jimbo Conner and is headed into their 5th year. The Sevier County Bears were 100-18-1 in 2009 and ranked #1 in the nation by USSSA BASEBALL in the 12u major division. The Bears won the 12u USSSA World Series in Charleston, SC and finished 3rd out of 104 teams in Cooperstown, New York going 9-1 with a heartbreaking loss in the semi's (6-5) to the Motor City Hitdogs. The Bears won 15 tournaments including the TN major state championship, the Atlanta wood bat, and the Susan G. Komen Battle for the Cure to name a few, the Bears also finished 2nd five times, and 3rd another three times. It was simply an amazing year, that we will try and REPEAT in 2010!
The Bears would like to welcome the newest members of our baseball family for the 2010 season. Kyle Briggs, Bryce Catlett, and Austin Rice will all join the Bears for the fall season of 2010.
