All Star Weekend was a success. The homerun derby was slow at first but Jason Fuller dominated the field by putting on a show with 14 dingers. The game was also exciting. Wes Cobb started for the defending All Star champs TN Valley Team. He went 5 innings with only 2 earned runs and 3 K’s. He got a little help offensively early with 3 runs only to relinquish the lead in the 5^th where he gave up all 3 runs after a blast off the bat of Adam Hollowell and a bevy of singles. But HR Derby champ Jason Fuller made sure he left the game with a chance to win by hitting a solo shot of his own to regain the lead. There was one more run scored off the bat of Bart Pemberton and that was it for the sticks. The Rocky Top and TN Valley team’s relievers dominated the rest of the game and the TN Valley team won 2 straight.
