East Side District Champs and State Finalists!!
Sectional Winner East Side advanced to State tournament in DIST 10, GEORGETOWN, Fort Wayne, JULY 28-31, played well in pool play, advanced to semi-finals, beat Georgetown 9-3. East Side was losing in the semifinal game, 3-0, then scored 5 runs in the 5th inning and 4 runs in the 6th inning. They advanced to finals, but lost to Fort Wayne Times Corner Little League 5-1.

East Side District Champs!!
ES advanced to State tournament in DIST14 ELK IN (JULY 20-25), at Baugo Little League, on Mishawaka Road in Elkhart County, in the Jimtown area.
First game for District 11 - East Side, 7/20 at 4:30, ES won 10-8 over Ft Wayne HGH.
Second game Friday 7/22 at 2pm , East Side won 9-3 against Zionsville.
Third game Saturday 7/23 at 2 pm. East Side won 9-2 over North Anderson.
Semi-final game Sunday 7/23 at 4 pm. East Side over Goshen 13-7.
Team advanced to final game, East Side over Goshen 21-13 for STATE TITLE!
Sara Mroczkiewicz had five hits, Michelle Szucs had 3, and Ashley Carrico 2 hits for East Side.

Middlebury LL advances to State tournament in Hartford City, Indiana, July 21 to 25. (State winner advances to Regional Tournament in Joplin, Missouri. Regional winner advances to World Series in Portland, Oregon.)

2005 11 YR OLD SOFTBALL DISTRICT TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE AND INFO
Sunday July 17th at SE.
First game 1:00 south field ES wins over CW 25-7,second game 3:00, ES wins over CW 17-1. ES advances to State tournament in DIST14 ELK IN (JULY 20-25), at Baugo Little League, on Mishawaka Road in Elkhart County, in the Jimtown area.
First game for District 11 - East Side, 7/20 at 4:30, ES won 10-8 over Ft Wayne HGH.
Second game Friday 7/22 at 2pm , East Side won 9-3 against Zionsville.
Third game Saturday 7/23 at 2 pm. East Side won 9-2 over North Anderson.
Semi-final game Sunday 7/23 at 4 pm. East Side over Goshen 13-7.
Team advanced to final game, East Side over Goshen 21-13 for STATE TITLE!
Sara Mroczkiewicz had five hits, Michelle Szucs had 3, and Ashley Carrico 2 hits for East Side.
