Hello all East Ramapo Little League Parents,
We are seeking a few dedicated and enthusiastic parents to become involved in the Little League and community. The success of the Little League depends on our volunteers. The League has a need for managers and coaches in the division your child is enrolled. Currently your division does not have a sufficient number of managers to proceed with the draft and support of the Spring-Summer season of 2010. Please discuss with your family if you can give your time to volunteer for this most rewarding effort.
ERLL managers and coaches help administer the teams and educate the players in good sportsmanship, safety, and accountability to the rules. As a league we will train every manager and coach to successfully provide baseball fundamentals and safety. Each division will have separate practices and also a group practice provided by a monthly clinic. After the clinics, we encourage our managers and coaches to continue to drive home the information taught and expand the little league experience.
The responsibility of a manager or coach is to contact the players on the team, become a focal point for any parent questions, as well as help organize your team with volunteers. There are other roles such as Team Mom, Equipment Bag Handler, and even concession stand help. Please consider volunteering your time you will find the rewards will greatly surpass the small inconvenience.
We are requesting that all prospective managers and coaches fill out a league volunteer application form as soon as possible in order to manage team and insure that the player draft and season schedules are not impacted.
Thank you,
East Ramapo Little League (ERLL)
