You girls make me very proud!! Don't ever let anyone bring you down, because you ARE the best!!! You played like the champions you are and you held your heads high and proud, and you were respectful of your opposition and acted like the true beautiful young ladies that you all are. Stay close, and remember your dreams.

Great season Radiers! You ladies have everthing to be proud of. I will so miss watching you group of girls play. You really do make Prince Georges County proud. Some will go on to play at D1 schools, others will hang up your cleats. One wise dad said, "It's a new page and a new chapter for all." May you all grow to be beautiful young women.
What a great 4 years!!!!

Whitman High School Varsity Soccer

To Katie, Mary, Wendy and the entire team:

I have been to the Mountain Top several times. There is no better feeling than winning a State Championship. I have also been to the bottom, losing in the State Final once and the regional Final twice. This past season our Boys team lost the Regional Final 1-0 to Walter Johnson. What a great game, witnessed by well over 2,000 people. We were the better team, played better soccer and had many, many chances, but lost 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the game of soccer. We all don't like it but are forced to accept the fact that it is the only team sport in the world where the better team does not always win. That should not diminish what you all have accomplished over a long period of time. All of the regional championships, state semi-final appearances and certainly not your 2003 State Title will ever go away. They are all there for the rest of your life, for you to remember, talk about and celebrate, forever. You have created a top level program, and one that will be successful for years to come. You should all be proud of the fact that you all helped create the dynasty. Years from now, people will talk about you as the ones who started it all. In ten years, no one will care who you played, but that you were a wonderful team, with great players, and handled yourselves with sportsmanship and a great deal of class. That should say it all. Congratulations on a great season and great High School career. May you always remember your time at ER with happiness.

Take care,

Dave Greene
