East Norriton Little League: Safety
ENLL takes the safety of its players and volunteers very seriously and the upcoming season marks another year of East Norriton Little League's formal safety program. This program was primarily guided by safety awareness information developed by Little League, Inc. and ENLL was the first league in all of PA District 22 to have its safety plan submitted and approved for 2012.
The purpose of the Safety Manual is to inform managers, coaches and volunteers about league safety procedures and safety training. With proper training, ENLL hopes to prevent injuries from occurring in the first place. With all of us working together, ENLL's players will be safer. Please e-mail any questions to ENLL's Safety Officer, . Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program) Newsletter
Long the pacesetter in youth sports safety, Little League has again taken the lead with the development of ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program). With the help of corporate sponsors Musco Lighting and AIG Insurance Companies, ASAP has created a network of more than 5,600 safety officers working together for safety.
ASAP is a grass roots program based on communication of ideas. Leagues across the country contribute their safety ideas to ASAP News, a colorful, monthly newsletter (To see the latest issue and also go back to all previous issues: Download it here). Safety officers can then find out what their peers are doing to make things "safer for the kids".
Introduced in 1994, ASAP has already increased Little League's overall safety awareness and reduced insurance costs for participating leagues. This summer, the annual ASAP Awards will recognize the leagues with the best safety programs.
For more ASAP information, call the ASAP Hotline at 800-811-7443 or E-Mail your request. Be sure to include your name and mailing address in addition to your e-mail address. You can also access the League Safety Officer Program Kit right on the Little League Web Site!
