East Norriton Little League: 2012 - Spring Divisions
The Tee Ball division is for 4- and 5-year-old boys and girls who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee and the primary goals are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. ENLL will focus on giving youngsters getting involved in baseball for the first time the tools and the instruction to be successful players in the future.
The 2012 Tee Ball commissioner is Glenn Hubler.
INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
The Instructional League division is primarily for 6-year-old players that will benefit from focusing on developing the fundamentals of hitting and fielding that were introduced in Tee Ball. Coaches will begin by pitching to players to get them ready to face the pitching machine.
The 2012 Instructional League commissioner is John Carbone.
MINOR LEAGUE
The Minor League division is primarily for 7- and 8-year-olds that are ready to bat against a pitching machine. Some 8-year-olds may play in the American League, but must tryout with the 9-year-old group and grade very well to be selected for an American League team.
The 2012 Minor League commissioner is Aaron Lake.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
The American League division is primarily for 9- and 10-year-olds with level determined by age/draft. American League All-Stars are selected for entry in the 9-year-old and 10-year-old tournaments.
The 2012 American League commissioner is Tim McDonald.
NATIONAL LEAGUE
The National League division is primarily for 11- and 12-year-olds with level determined by age/draft. National League All-Stars are selected for entry in the 11-year-old and 12-year-old tournaments.
The 2012 National League commissioner is Gene Spirito.
JUNIOR/SENIOR LEAGUES
The Junior & Senior Leagues are for 13- thru 16-year-olds with level determined by age/draft.
The 2012 Junior & Senior Leagues commissioner is John Pascucci.
