Upcoming Spring 2010 season

The 2010 season is fast approaching and below are the ENLL sign up dates for the spring season. Online registration is now open until February.

Thursday, December 10th
2010 spring season sign-ups - 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
(Dec. 10 sign ups are at Rose School)

Saturday, December 12th
2010 spring season sign-ups - 12 – 3 p.m.


Monday, January 11th
2010 Spring season sign-ups - 6 – 8 p.m. 

Saturday, January 16th
2010 spring season sign-ups - 9 a.m. – Noon
 

December 12th, January 11th and January 16th sign ups to be held at Mtn View Park .

All current Fall Ball players can also sign up before or after their games on Fridays by seeing a board member.

NOTE: We will be accepting donations of all old baseball equipment (baseball cleats, bats, pants, gloves, batting gloves, etc). So please consider donating them to ENLL at any of our sign ups where we will store them until our rummage sale on January 16. We will be selling the items at a much lower price than any sporting goods store so that you save money.

What to bring to the sign up: Copy of Birth Certificate and Three (3) different Little League residency proof copies.

Please bring a copy of any three items listed below for proof of residency plus copy of birth certificate:

1. Voters registration
2. Welfare/Child care records
3. Federal records
4. State records
5. Local (municipal records)
6. Homeowner/Tenant records
7. Utility Bill (i.e. gas, electric, water/sewer, land line phone, heating. Note please bring only one Utility)
8. Financial records (home loan, credit, etc)
9. Internet, cable or satellite records
10. Vehicle records

Fall Baseball Season underway


Fall Ball season starts October 2 and continues through November.

All players should have been contacted by their coaches and practices are underway. To view the game schedules and local rules, click on Fall Ball

Monday, September 28
Benefit rummage sale

Escondido National Little League will be holding two benefit rummage sales on Jan. 16 and Jan. 23 and is looking for gently used baseball equipment.

Both dates are also being used as a sign up date and a players clinic for the children.

If you have used equipment your son or daugther has outgrown, please drop them off at any of our sign up dates. All items will be sold at a very discounted rate to others in the league. Consider it passing it down to the next level. We also plan on having brand new baseball pants available for purchase among many other things.

Items we are looking for: Cleats, baseball helmets, gloves, socks, undershirts, gloves, batting gloves, catchers equipment, baseball bags, bats, etc.

January 16th – Players clinic

Escondido National Little League will be holding a players clinic for all new and returning players.

You will receive personal instruction from the high school, college and professional players & coaches. We will teach mechanics and drills in
pitching, hitting, outfield and infield. Campers will also have the option of working on catching mechanics.


Who: Baseball palyers ages 5-14 years old
When:  Saturday, January 16
Where: Mtn. View Park
Cost: Free to ENLL players. $10 for all other youth baseball players

Bring your cleats and glove (bats and helmets if available). Times will be available as soon as possible.

Pre-register at the ENLL Player sign ups or by e-mailing escondidonational@gmail.com from Oct. 28 to Jan. 11.

Coaches Clinic


Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, 10 a.m. at Mtn. View Park
Cost: Free
Brief Description
Coaches and Managers will learn how to teach fundamental throwing, pitching, hitting, bunting, infield, outfield and base-running skills to youth players.

Additionally, Coaches and Managers will be exposed to drills to reinforce skills learned and be introduced to pratice plans to implement during the season.

T-Ball and Rookies

T-Ball and Rookies Coaches will be introduced to

- Simple practice plans

- Drills to promote developmental skills

Minors, Majors, and Juniors

Minors, Majors, and Juniors Coaches will be introduced to

- Simple and advancedpractice plans

- Drills to promote developmental and fundamental skills

 Additional Information

Wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. Additionally, bring a glove as this clinic will involve active participation.

Arrive 30 MINUTES prior to your appropriate start time to check in, as clinic will begin on time

Our 2009 Junior All Star Team won the District 31 All Star Tournament.  They were undefeated.

For the first time, anyone can check out the latest videos from Little League International on Dugout's YouTube channel. A local league or district can add some or all of the videos to their websites for free. Several can be seen on ESPN. Click here to visit Dugout's page on YouTube and see them for yourself.
