2009 Women - Spring sports preview: Girls to watch

1. CHELSEA PETERSON, East Grand Rapids -- MSU is the next stop for the EGR senior.
2. KAELY SCHLOSSER, Forest Hills Central -- The Rangers junior has verbally committed to play at Central Michigan.
3. ANNIE STEINLAGE, Spring Lake -- She eventually plans to join Peterson at MSU as she is a junior.
4. JORDYN SKINNER, South Christian --She is the Sailors' keeper this spring, but volleyball at Western Kentucky is Skinner's agenda next school year.
5. ALEX HEFFRON, Catholic Central --Named to the Division 3 all-state third team last year, she could be the best sophomore in the state.
6. HAILEY YONDO, Caledonia -- Also a sophomore, she was named to last year's Division 2 all-state second team.
7. ERIKA BOLL, Forest Hills Central --Senior plans to continue her playing career at Manhattan College next year.
8. LIZ ELLIS, East Grand Rapids -- The Pioneers are among the best teams in the area because of Ellis and her fellow senior, Peterson.
9. CHARLESE MCLEMORE, Grand Rapids Christian -- The Eagles junior was selected to last year's Division 2 all-state second team.
10. BRITTANY DULYEA, East Kentwood -- She has played in every Falcons game the past four seasons and could break the school record for varsity games played in a career.
