Booster Activities - Uniforms

2013 Chairperson:  Angela Henshaw

Jerseys are provided by EHS.  Boys are responsible for shorts, socks, shin guards, shoes, etc.

The booster club arranges a one-time order for these items.  Style change as necessary.

Unused uniform items are refundable until the Orange and Black Scrimmage.

Booster Activities - Booster Dues
All parents of players put on a roster are mandatory members of the booster club.  Annual dues are $35.00 and will be collected from each family at the Orange and Black Scrimmage. 

Booster Activities - Concession Stand

2013 Chairperson:  Lisa Warrer / TBD 

The concession stand is one of our main fundraisers and requires everyone’s help. 

At least one parent of each player must work the concession stand during one home game. 

Sign up for a V, JV, or FR level game.  We do not want you to sign up during your son’s games. 

A total of 3 parents are needed for each JV and Varsity game, and 2 parents for each Freshman game. 

Volunteer Schedules will be posted on the Website.


Sorry, but no children helpers and no free items to workers and players! 

You may sign up at the Orange and Black Scrimmage.

Booster Activities - Orange & Black Scrimmage

Gates Open at 4:00pm, Scrimmages Start at 6:00pm



This is our first event of the season and parents are encouraged to attend.  Besides being able to watch intra-squad scrimmages, parents are encouraged to:  Pay $35.00 Booster Club dues, Sign up to volunteer on committees/events,  Sign up to volunteer for concession stand, bring for Away Game Bus items, pay Jersey Deposit (Freshman Team: $50, JV/Varsity:  $100 - separate check), Order/purchase soccer apparel for players and family.


Booster Activities - Soccer Apparel

Each season, the seniors choose a graphic to print on t-shirts & hoodies. 

Parents/Players can order this apparel via a website in Mid-July for delivery at the O&B Scrimmage or in Late-August for

delivery in Mid-September. 


Booster Activities - Senior Night

2013 Chairperson:  Karen Burke  

Typically the last home game of the season, senior players and their parents are honored before the varsity game.

Personalized decorations make it a memorable occasion.  

Each senior writes a special message to his parents and gives a keepsake gift and flower. 

Senior cheerleaders and the dance team that participate at the soccer games are also recognized. 


Booster Activities - Banquet

2013 Chairperson:  Patti Kieffer / Kirsten Tucker 

All three teams participate, so this is a very important event as well as a large one to plan.

Coaches summarize each team’s season and recognize player achievements. 

Players attend free as guests of the booster club, and family members must pay for their meal.

Booster Activities - Team Representatives

Volunteer for each team to communicate between Booster Board and their respective teams.  Additional responsibilities will include attendance at board meetings, coordinating participation in Homecoming and Halloween Parades, and coordinating bus cooler for away games.


Booster Activities - Team Dinners

2013 Chairperson:  TBD

Dinner will be hosted for our teams only the night prior to home games.  Sign up to host the dinners will be available pre-season.  Funds will be provided to the host as budgeted.


Booster Activities - Action Pictures

2013 Chairperson:  Russ Gilliland 

Coordinate with photographers to take pictures of all three teams.  The booster club will pay for the CDs.  Pictures are given to the EHS yearbook staff, displayed at the banquet and given to players.


Booster Activities - Morton Tournament

2013 Chairperson:  Gary Paul 

Date:   September 13 & 14, 2013 


The varsity team travels by bus for this two day tournament.  The booster club covers the cost of travel for team.  Boosters will have a block of rooms at nearby Hotel.  Details will be forwarded when available. 

Booster Activities - Booth

2013 Chairperson:  Mike Watts

Several people are needed for technological duties.  An announcer, manager of the clock, music, anthem, PA system, and soccer sign lights are needed in order for each game to run efficiently. 

Booster Activities - General Fundraising

2013 Chairperson:  TBD   (Trivia Night:  Laura Dehr)

In previous years, the boosters have sponsored auctions, a chicken/beer dance, etc. to raise general funds for equipment, tournament travel, warm-ups, and more.  This position may be overridden while stadium funds are required.  Additionally, this person would be responsible for service projects for the community for the players.

Edwardsville Halloween Parade:  October 31, 2013



Responsibilities include EHS Soccer Team registration and design/build of float for EHS Homecoming Parade and Edwardsville Halloween Parade.
