Booster Club Meeting Dates

Player Booster Dues
All parents of a player(s) placed on a roster become mandatory members of the Boosters Club.
Annual dues are $45 for the 1st child and $25 for each additional child.
The dues are collected from each family annually at the Orange & Black Scrimmage
 
Team Events
Orange & Black Scrimmage - August 22, 2015
Chairperson: TBD
It is an inter squad scrimmage.  It is the first event of the season and parents are encouraged to attend.  Please see the Orange & Black webpage for more information. 
 
Trivia Night - September 
Chairperson: TBD
Date: 2015 time and date in September TBD.  The trivia night webpage will be updated closer to the event
 
Morton Tournament - September 11th & 12th, 2015
Chairperson: Chuck Hentz
The varsity team travels by bus for this two day tournament.  The booster club reserves and pays for the player rooms. Parents are responsible for the cost of their rooms if they chose to travel.  All rooms must be purchased from the block of rooms reserved by the booster.  You will receive additional information if your son is selected.  
 
Senior Night - Late in Season
Chairperson: Laura Picchiotti & Kay Wasmuth
Typically occurs during the last home game of the season.  Senior players and their parents are honored before the varsity game.  Personal decorations make it a memorable occasion.
Each senior writes a special message to his parents and gives a keepsake gift and flowers.
Senior cheerleaders and the dance team that participate at the soccer games are also recognized.
 
Banquet Night - November

The banquet is a special event.  All levels (Varsity, JV and Freshman) participate in this formal affair resulting in an exciting night.  Coaches summarize each team's season and recognize player achievements.  Players attend free as guests of the booster club.  Family members purchase meals.  Information from prior banquets is available.
 
Team Dinners - Prior to each home game
Chairperson: TBD
Team dinners are hosted by a family or group of families the night prior to each home game.  Family(s) will sign up to host at the Orange & Black Scrimmage.  The boosters provide the first $100 per dinner to help the host(s).  Expenses exceeding $100 is the responsibility of the host.
 
Parades

Edwardsville Halloween Parade: TBD
The soccer players, coach(s) and parents participate in community events to thank the fans and support the community.  The chairperson is responsible for registration, building floats (if approved).
 
General Fundraising
Chairperson: TBD
In previous years, the boosters have sponsored auctions, chick/beer dances, etc. to raise general funds for equipment, tournament travel, warm-ups and more.  The person is responsible for service projects for the community on behalf of the players.   
 
Social Media

Maintain social media sites (twitter, Facebook,etc..) and update the website
 
Game Day Activities
Uniforms/Spirit Wear
Chairperson: Chuck Hentz
Jerseys are provided by the school.  Players are responsible for shorts, socks, shin guards, shoes, etc..The boosters club arranges a onetime order for these items during the spring.  Style changes may be necessary.  Players who are not selected for the team will be able to return items purchased up until the Orange & Black scrimmage.
 
Soccer Apparel/Spirit Wear
Chairperson: Mary Hoelting
Each Season, the seniors choose a graphic to print on T-shirts and Hoodies.  Parents/Players can order this apparel via a website in mid-July for delivery at the Orange & Black Scrimmage or in Late-August for delivery in Mid-September.
 
Concession Stand
Chairperson: Todd and Katie Linnemeyer
The concession stand is one of the main fund raisers and requires everyone's help.  
At least one parents of each player must work the concession stand during one home game.  Sign up for Varsity, JV and Freshman games will occur during the Orange & Black Scrimmage.  Do not sign up for times when your son is playing only.  
Parents needed for each game are: 3- Varsity, 3- JV and 2- Freshman.
Volunteer schedules will be posted on the website.
No one under the age of 18 may volunteer for concession stand duties.  No free items to workers or players.

Freshman: Eric Waltenberger/Jeff Doolin
Volunteer for each team to communicate between the booster board and their respective teams.  Additional responsibilities will include attendance at board meetings, coordinating participation in Homecoming and Halloween parades, and bus cooler for away games.
 
Announcer Booth
Chairperson: Mike Watts & Eric Freese
Several people are needed for technical duties.  An announcer, manager of the clock, music, anthem, PA system, and soccer sign lights are needed in order for each game to run efficiently.
 
Action Pictures
Chairperson: Var/JV- TBD  Freshman - Jeff Doolin
Coordinate with photographers to take pictures of all three teams.  The boosters club will pay for the CD's.  Pictures are posted to shutter fly and given to EHS yearbook staff, displayed at the banquet and given to players.
