EGR Varsity beat Lowell in a close 5 game match
EGR beats Lowell in a tough 5 game match to put our League record to 8-0. The girls never gave up dispite being down several times throughout the match. Excellent play by Maeve McDonald who had 68 assists and 26 digs. Besty Ronda and Caroline Knooheizen had strong performances leading the team in kills, Betsy with 26 and Caroline with 24. Maddie French also contributed with clutch serves at the end of the 5th game. However dispite good individual performances, only a team effort and strong will by all players could pull out this win - great job girls!

Varsity make it to the finals in EK's Dig Pink tournament
EGR beat Hudsonville, Portage Central and EK in pool play. They continued their win over FH Northern in the quarters and Plainwell who is ranked #1 in Division 2 in the semi finals. The gilrs lost to Farmington Mercy who is ranked #1 in Division 1 in the finals. By beating Plainwell, East Grand Rapids moves into the #1 team in Division 2.

Varsity take home gold in Portage Northern Invite
The Varsity volleyball team played Otsego, Okemos, Bronson, Portage Northern and met Flushing in the finals. Beating each team in 2 games. The are currently ranked #1 in the state.

JV win it all at GRCC invite held at the Ford Field House
EGR JV girls played at GR Community College for a 15 team tournament - winning the Gold Bracket as the #1 team - after winning pool play and beating Jenison in just 2 in the finals. Clare Swaney was named tournament MVP. This is the 4th first place trophy, for a tournament this season.
