A Quiet Year
We are sorry to have to announce that enrollment is not sufficient to open the school for 2003-2004.

Enclosed below are excerpts of a letter sent to parents this week.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 55:8).
We don’t always understand God’s way, however, we do understand reality.
The reality is there will not be a Wyoming Valley Christian School meeting at Ebenezer Baptist church for the 2003-2004 school year. We tried, but God has closed the door.
To those of you who have supported Christian education, thank you and God bless as you place your children in school for the upcoming school year.
Pray concerning God’s will for a traditional Christian School in this part of the valley.
        May God bless you richly.
In Christ,
Pastor Lee
Carman Latona
Chester Dudick

In a separate letter to the faculty, Pastor Lee thanked them for their years of service:
“Thank you for your faithfulness in your position at Ebenezer Faith Christian School. Your years spent here have been an inspiration to many.
“May God bless you and open doors for you to continue in your service for Him.”
In Christ,
Pastor Lee

WILL YOU PRAY WITH US FOR THE OPENING OF A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL WITHIN THEY WYOMING VALLEY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE?

Season canceled
It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of the fall 2001 boys' soccer season. While some interested was expressed as starting a team again, not enough people returned forms to the school to continue with the program this year.
With several modifications, the girls' season will progress as scheduled. You may access their website through the "Links" page.
We regret the inconvenience that this has caused those schools with whom we had previously scheduled matches. It is our goal to resume the program with the fall 2002 season.

(Opposing coaches: If you have any questions, please contact me at the school during regular hours.)
