The Major Division District Team won their first District game last night. Beating Barnstable 5-4.
Connor Gavin pitched a complete game and hit a 2 run HR in the 3rd inning. In the bottom of the 6th and down 4 -2 with 2 outs. Jake Pierce hit a double with bases loaded and knocked in 2 runs to tie the game, and then Ty Jenkins came up behind him and hit a walk off single up the middle and knocked in the winning run.
Way to go guys!

EBLL would like to congratulate Bob Roscoe on the street connecting Strong Avenue and Spear Avenue being named Bob Roscoe Way. If anyone doesn't know Bob just take a ride to Strong's Field any day during baseball season and you will find him there keeping the field in tip-top shape, without his efforts baseball at Strong's Field wouldn't be the same. The ceremony was held on October 4th dedicating the street and signs.
