THE ALUMNI TOURNAMENT 5TH QUARTER REPORT
For the first year the Craig Basketball Alumni Tournament was a great success! We want to thank everyone who came back and played, the coaches who returned and the family and friends who shared many smiles and laughter throughout the day. A special thanks to Tom Imhoff and his officiating crew and Sam Lozzio for capturing all the action throughout the day. If you have any feedback or suggestions for next year please email one of the board members. Our goal is to make the event better each and every year and hoping it becomes a tradition for the basketball program.
As far as the days games went we had two womens teams. Team 2000's defeated Team 1990's in both games. As for the men's division we had four teams. In the first round of games Team 1996-1999 defeated Team 1980-1993, 54-47 and Team 2001-2009 defeated Team 2011-2012, 57-49.
In the Men's 3rd place game Team 2011-2012 defeated Team 1980-1993, 74-62 and in the Men's championship game Team 2001-2009 hoisted the championship trophy by beating Team 1996-1999, 74-62.
The Women's 3 Point Shootout Champion was Danielle Straw (15 made) and the Men's 3 Point Shootout Champion was Peter Cooney (21 made).
