Eager Beaver Baseball Association (EBBA): Competitive: London Tecumsehs

All EBBA Competitive Teams are known as the London Tecumsehs. They play in the LDBA (London District Baseball Association), and will play against other teams in the London and surrounding areas. All Tecumseh teams are classified A/AA for tournament play (can enter A or AA tournaments), and for OBA championships will be classified A or AA by the LDBA. All coaches at the competitive level (head coaches and assistant coaches) are required by the LDBA to be certified "Trained" by NCCP, the National Coaching Certification Program in Canada.

Indoor Workouts for all Major Rookie aged players (born in 2000) registered with EBBA are currently running at Princess Anne Public School, from 6:00-8:00pm.
Cost is $2 per week.
Tryouts for the 2009 Major Rookie Tecumseh competitive team will begin in late April 2009.

Indoor workouts for the Major Bantam Tecumsehs begin Saturday February 7 and run until Saturday April 25 (Every Saturday). These workouts are open to all Bantam aged players (minor and major).

Welcome to another season of competitive Eagar Beaver Baseball. After a successful finish to last years season by winning the LDBA playoff Championship we certainly are expecting great things this season.
Spring Training  : This season I have secured the University of Western Ontario Thompson Arena complex for our spring training venue. I have been using this facility for a number of years for the London Lightning team and it has worked out very well and has all the equipment we need to make the team ready.
Please arrive ½ hour before the workout time to register and set up the batting cage. Fee of $30 for all 4 training sessions or $10 for each session is required at registration. Fee for Facility and equipment rental from UWO.
EBBA Tecumseh clothing and fitting will be available during the workouts.

The confirmed workout dates are;

Monday March 9th  7:00 – 9:00pm
Saturday March 14^th 12-2pm
Saturday March 21^st 12-2pm
Saturday March 28^th 12-2pm

In February 2006, the LDBA Board of Directors passed the following -- "players must register with their home association by March 15 and that all players trying out for Badger teams must register with their home associations by March 1" and further that "LDBA will not allow any further releases and all players without a team will be placed by LDBA on a team for the current playing year".

This motion is still in effect and must be abided by.
