EAA Football holds registration in the spring of each year, typically beginning in late May for the following Fall season. Registration is held as part of Eagan Athletic Association's registration period for Fall sports.
The May 28 through June 20 registration period is very important, because the Board uses registration numbers to decide how many teams will be formed at each grade level. These grade levels are 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, 7th grade (new summer program) and 8th grade (new summer program) based on the grade the player will be entering in September 2008.
The registration fee for grades 3/4 and 5/6 for the 2008 season is $125.00 for those who register during the regular registration period from May 28 through JULY 2 (extended.) The registration fee for the 7th grade and 8th grade programs, which runs during the month of August is $75.00.
Late registrations (JULY 3rd through July 18) will incur an additional $10 late registration fee. FOOTBALL REGISTRATIONS AFTER JULY 18 ARE NOT GUARANTEED AND MAY BE ACCEPTED OR DENIED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.
Registration will be available on-line (with a Credit Card payment) at the following link on the main EAA website in the registration area.
On the on-line registration webpage under "Select a Sport", choose "Football" and the correct grade level to sign-up for the 2008 season. Your Credit Card will be charged the registration amount.
Registration may also be done in-person on May 28 at Dakota Hills Middle School. At Dakota Hills the registration fee may be paid by cash or check. EAA Board Members will be available to answer any questions you may have about the football program.

In addition to the registration fee, there is a $100 equipment deposit. All uniforms, pads and helmets are provided by EAA, Players must provide their own athletic supporter and cup and football shoes. Only molded rubber or plastic cleats are allowed- no metal or removable cleats are permitted. Again this year - - deposit checks will be collected at the time equipment is checked out for the season.
If you are interested in coaching, please indicate as such when registering your child by listing "Head Coach" or "Assistant Coach" in the volunteer field of the on-line registration form.
Also note, pre-season evaluations for the 2008 season will again be held at the Eagan High School practice fields beginning at 6:00 P.M. on the following dates:
5th-6th Grade July 28 and 29, 2008
3rd-4th Grade July 29 and 30, 2008
7th Grade July 28 -July 31
8th Grade July 28 -July 31
Evaluations are strictly for determining player skills so that teams may be formed evenly in our player selection draft. Players who cannot make it to player evaluations will be placed on teams randomly.
