Greetings!

Sam and Mommy

Since April 2003, five months after our daughter, Samantha, was diagnosed with an 18q- deletion, my husband, John, and I have been organizing fundraising events to raise research money for The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society and to increase awareness of chromosome 18 abnormalities.

This year, we, the parents of children born with chromosome 18 abnormalities in Katy & Houston, Texas, have teamed up for the Dutch Dash 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk. The event will take place on November 8, 2008 at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch. We are asking for your support!

Proceeds of this event will be donated to The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society, a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization whose mission is to help individuals with chromosome 18 abnormalities overcome the obstacles they face so they might lead happy and healthy lives.

The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society's programs and projects depend on the generosity of its members and supporters, and every dollar raised brings the Registry a step closer to the answers that will help our children achieve the full lives we all want for them.

ONLINE registration is now CLOSED.

On-site registration will be available for the Dutch Dash 5K Run from 7:00-7:45 AM and for the Holland Hustle 1 Mile Walk from 7:00-8:20 AM but a $5.00 late fee will apply.

See below for early registration packet pick-up days and times.
